Margo Hennet, DVM

Margo is a small animal veterinarian with prior professional experience as a research scientist and an industry expert. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Colorado State University, she completed specialty training in Internal Medicine before serving as a general practice and emergency veterinarian along Colorado’s Front Range.  At Wisdom, she combines her research experience in cellular biology, microbiology, and genetics with her passion for clinical medicine and the human-animal bond. She focuses on genetic test development and validation, working closely with colleagues to provide a holistic, scientifically robust approach to advancing feline and canine genetic knowledge for everyone.  She lives in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming, where she enjoys hiking, skiing, rock climbing, yoga, and generally being outside in all weather. She and her husband have two boys and two mostly-good dogs.
