These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern your entry into and participation in the [James Wellbeloved Competition] promotion (the "Promotion"). Please read these terms carefully before entering as by entering you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. ARTICLE 2 – PROMOTIONAL PERIOD The Promotion will run from 09:00:00 on Saturday 16th May 2026 to 18:00:00 Sunday 17th May 2026, both inclusive (“Promotional Period”). Entries must be received within this time in order to be valid. ARTICLE 3 - ELIGIBILITY 3.1. The Promotion is open to all persons aged over 18 years, resident of the UK, (the "Territory"). 3.2. The following persons cannot participate in the Promotion: (a) persons not meeting the above conditions; (b) employees of the Promoter and/or any other company(ies) collaborating in the Promotion, including shops’ personnel or shareholders and; (c) the relatives (spouse, child, parent, brother, sister) of any persons in let (b). 3.3. Participation is limited to maximum [1 entry per person] for the entire Promotional Period. 3.4. Bulk entries, entrants using multiple addresses, email addresses, numbers or entering via agents, third parties, organised groups, syndicates or aliases or entries automatically generated by computer will not be accepted. Entries received by any means other than as specified in these Terms and Conditions (see Article 5 below) will be rejected. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Only genuine valid entries will be considered. 3.5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify that participation in the Promotion, including the drawing of and/or the award of Prize, complies with these Terms and Conditions. Non-compliant registration or participation may result in the disqualification of the participants or winners and the cancellation of their Prize. 3.6. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the application process or operation of the Site or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the Promotion. The Promoter is not obliged to notify the participant of the disqualification. ARTICLE 4 – PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS No purchase necessary. ARTICLE 6 - WINNER SELECTION: 1 winner will be selected. No later than 24th May 2026, the winner will be picked at random. ARTICLE 7 – PRIZE INFORMATION AND REDEMPTION Prizes There is 1 prize, in total, available to be won as follows: 1 year’s supply of PEDIGREE DENTASTIX (the "Prize"). A year’s supply of PEDIGREE DENTASTIX for 1 dog. The exact size and amount included as part of the prize will be determined through a discussion with our care team regarding size of dog/breed/nutrition requirements. The Prize is strictly non-transferable and must not be sold, auctioned nor advertised for sale. No cash alternatives or other alternative prizes will be available in whole or in part, except in the event of the advertised Prizes being unavailable in circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, whereby the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with alternative prizes of equal or greater value. The prize will be sent out in 1 transaction. The Promoter will contact the winner before the shipment of products. The prize may be subject to tax in accordance with the legislation in force. Contact with winner(s) The 1 winner will be contacted by email within 7 days of the closing date of the Promotion. Winner(s) will be required to respond within 14 days confirming (i) their acceptance of the Prize, and (ii) their address. Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner(s) to receive the relevant information to allow fulfilment of the applicable Prize. Regular reminders (up to 3) will be sent out to winner(s). Inaccurate information may result in the Prize being forfeited. If a winner has not responded to notifications after 14 days or if a selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions or unable to or declines to take up the Prize for any reason, Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and to reallocate the Prize by contacting a new winner from all remaining entries in accordance with the process described in these Terms and Conditions. Winner(s) should retain their notification email message until their win has been verified. Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner does not receive their Prize for whatever reason, including in the event that a winner provides an incorrect address or bank account details or due to postal delays or loss by the postal service. Insofar as is permitted by law, Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering into the promotion and Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance of the Prize, except where such damage or loss is caused by the negligence of Promoter. Winner’s statutory rights are not affected. ARTICLE 8 - PERSONAL DATA Organiser collects and processes personal data provided by participants as part of the Promotion, in accordance with Organiser’s privacy policy available at Organiser https://www.mars.com/privacy. The processing of participants’ personal data is necessary for the Organiser, (who is the data controller and responsible for the processing), for the purposes of the proper management of the Promotion, to inform the winners of the results and to send them their Prize, in compliance with these Terms and Conditions. The participants’ personal data will not be shared with any third party, other than the Organiser’s subcontracted service providers, acting on its behalf, on its instructions and under its control for the purposes of carrying out all or part of the processing of participants’ personal data. A list of winner(s) surnames and their county is available on request. Should a winner object to their information being made available, they should contact the Promoter by emailing privacy@effem.com. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose information to regulatory authorities if required by law to do so. The data of participants who are not designated as winners will be kept for the duration of the Promotion. Winners’ data will be kept for one year from the delivery of their Prizes. Participants in the Promotion may access, update, modify, delete, transfer, restrict or oppose the processing of their personal data. Persons exercising their right to delete, transfer, object to or restrict the processing of their personal data before the end of the Promotion will not be able to participate in the Promotion and receive a Prize. Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority for the Territory. ARTICLE 9 – GENERAL PROVISIONS 9.1 Severability. If any clause of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then it shall be deemed deleted from these Terms and Conditions. The remaining clauses shall be unaffected and remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid provision which is as similar as possible in substance and purpose to the invalid or unenforceable provision. 9.2 Exclusions and limitations. No correspondence. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the prize winner(s). Changes. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of the Prize(s), the Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend the Promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions where it becomes necessary to do so, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. However, if you are resident in Scotland, you may bring your claim before the Scottish or English courts.
